Reinforcing her status as a reliable and key contributor, midcourter Tayla Earle is back for a sixth season with the Mystics after stepping out of the schoolgirl ranks and into elite level netball with consummate ease in 2019. The former New Zealand Secondary School Player of the Year made an immediate impact for the Mystics through her athletic ability, skill-set and deft no-fear feeding touch. A versatile player, Earle is a strong link through the midcourt with her consistent feeding on attack while also providing nuggety defence where she has a nose for the intercept. Through her gritty determination, speed and flair, Earle remains an exciting talent who has made significant gains in the Mystics environment. She has been a member of the 2022 and 2023 FAST5 Ferns teams competing at the FAST5 Netball World Series, was included in the 2023-24 Silver Ferns Development squad and went on to make her international debut in the 2024 Netball Nations Cup series.
