After playing her first full season with the Mystics in 2021, well-performed shooter Filda Vui had an immediate impact, consequently being rewarded with selection in the 2021/22 Silver Ferns Development squad. Vui will again form part of a young Mystics shooting trio in 2024 and has demonstrated her ability to mix it with the best and now looking to push on. Earning plenty of game-time during the Mystics title-winning run in 2021, Vui took her opportunities with both hands, impressing with her calm temperament, poise and confidence to shoot. A strong work ethic, natural ability and a solid three-year grounding in the National Netball League with the Northern Marvels and as a Mystics training partner have Vui well-primed to further progress her game. She was a member of the 2022 FAST5 Ferns bronze medal-winning team at the FAST5 Netball World Series.
