Creative and skilfull midcourter Tori Kolose joined the Magic as a replacement player after a serious knee injury ruled Asher Grapes out for 2021. A dynamic athlete with a strong background in touch and athletics, Kolose is no stranger to top flight netball. The 21-year-old has previous ANZ Premiership experience with the Mystics (2018) and more recently as a training partner with the Stars. A product of Saint Kentigern College, Kolose was selected in the NZ Secondary Schools team in 2017. That same year, she played for the Comets in the Beko league where she was the team’s player of the year. A valuable asset in being able to cover all three midcourt positions, Kolose’s strengths lie in her adaptability, speed and quick feeding.
