Accomplished defender Sulu Fitzpatrick produced a compelling season after returning home to play for the Mystics in 2020. The well-travelled Fitzpatrick has been a standout from the custodian’s position of goalkeeper and returns as a key component of the Mystics defensive end in 2021. Strong in the air and a fine reader of play from the back court, the resurgent Fitzpatrick has revelled. Her growing maturity warranted an international recall in 2018, seven years after gaining a solitary test cap in 2011. She was also selected as a non-travelling reserve for the 2019 Netball World Cup. A natural leader, Fitzpatrick captained the FAST5 Ferns to the Fast5 World Series title in 2018. Consistently impressive form earned Fitzpatrick a spot in the 2020-21 Silver Ferns Squad.
