Defender Elle Temu returns to her home city of Auckland and the Stars in 2021 after cutting her teeth at the elite level with the Pulse for the past two seasons. The 1.89m in-circle defender has made promising strides and will continue to forge ahead with more court time. A mobile defender with an impressive wing span, Temu has good timing and reads play astutely from the defensive end. A former NZSS defender, Temu made the move to the Capital from Auckland in 2018 after being selected for the Central Manawa Beko team and as a Pulse training partner for the pre-season. She is a product of Mount Albert Grammar School which has proved a fruitful nursery for budding netball talent over the years.
